Project: Album Artwork for Emmy-nominated Chorale Ensemble

One of my favorite design projects of 2017 was for classical & medieval chorale ensemble, Mediaeval Baebes. They sing the Emmy-nominated title song of the ITV series, “Victoria”, which has been enchanting viewers of the series since the first show aired in the UK in 2016. The song, written by Martin Phipps, has also won the Royal Television Society Award for Best Original Title Soundtrack.

I designed the album artwork (CD booklet & inlays) for the ensemble’s 2017 compilations album, “Victoriana”, which features the theme song from the series along with songs from their catalog “familiar in feel and flavor to a Victorian audience”. The beautiful photography is by Karla da Silva, cover photo is by David Arnoff.
